About Us

A spacious meeting room with tables and chairs arranged. — Elks Lodge
A spacious meeting room with tables and chairs arranged.

On West 3rd Street in downtown Greenville, the Elks Lodge has been a fixture of Darke County life for generations. This is a place where veterans shake hands with neighbors, where kids get scholarship checks, and where the American flag means something beyond decoration. The building carries the weight of real history, and the people inside carry it proudly.

The Lodge hosts wedding receptions, private parties, and civic fundraisers throughout the year. Guests consistently praise the attentive staff and the warm, unhurried atmosphere that big commercial venues simply cannot replicate. When a family chose this hall for a recent niece's wedding reception, the staff's personal attention to every guest made it a night the whole family talked about for months.

The BPOE mission runs deeper than the four walls of any building. Elks members across the country commit to caring for veterans, supporting youth programs, and strengthening the communities they call home. Here in Greenville, OH, that commitment shows up in local scholarships, holiday food drives, and a members' lounge where the conversation is always free.

What We Offer

The Lodge offers banquet hall rentals for weddings, receptions, milestone birthdays, and corporate gatherings. The main event space accommodates groups of varying sizes, and the staff works directly with hosts to make setup and service run smoothly from the first handshake to the last dance.

Membership benefits include access to the members' lounge, participation in Lodge-sponsored charitable programs, and a network of more than 2,000 Elks Lodges nationwide, meaning your card is welcome far beyond Greenville. The Lodge also coordinates veteran support initiatives, youth scholarship programs, and community fundraisers that put dollars directly back into Darke County.

For event inquiries or membership information, stop by 214 W 3rd St during posted hours or connect through the national Elks website to reach the local Lodge officer on duty.

A Proud Heritage

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
